Saturday pics (5-30) K10 cruisin'
Well, after a long string of rainy weekends we finally had one with some excellent weather! The bad news is that this was the fifth Saturday of the month and there was precisely Zilch going on. Had to make the best of it so we rolled Christy's 54 to Chattanooga and back today for some errands (no pics). It was great to get it out on the road. When we got back to the house I had an urge to get out the K10. It's been waiting patiently on me down in the garage...I don't drive it as much as I should. On these occaisons that I do get it out on the road I'm reminded of how much I enjoy it! I stopped and shot a couple quick shots while I was out.
Hope you guys like em! Remember, Keep the sun behind you so that you don't end up with shots like this! |

Yep, Those are it's stock colors. The green is paint code 505. Sometimes refered to as dark green or woodland green.

Re: Saturday pics (5-30) K10 cruisin'
About time you rolled the K/10 out. It`s the same as your C/10,only different. That`s what grabs me with these trucks. You can sit in the same seat, look at the same dash, and over the same hood yet the ride can be so different.
It must be nice to have that truck just waiting for when you decide to drive it.

Re: Saturday pics (5-30) K10 cruisin'
Thanks guys! I really haven't been driving the C10 either. (Haven't even washed it this year). We realized a couple months ago that one of the front tires was wearing on the outside edge so I parked it before I ruined the tires.... Haven't gotten around to adjusting the frontend to correct the issue yet. We've pretty much been driving the 54, the 350 or the camaro everywhere.
We bought some alignment tools, so maybe I can get out there and get that joker straightened out soon! |

Asa, As always GREAT pics!!! I cant wait to get home and work on mine. Next step is powder coat the frame and drop it like we talked about. How did that tailgate work for you guys? I think I caught the long bed bug after seeing the Blue one you guys drove to pick up the gate.

Re: Saturday pics (5-30) K10 cruisin'
Thanks man! He's still got that tailgate in his kitchen I think (might be in a spare bedroom). He's waiting til he gets the truck torn down for paint to install it. It could be a while before it sees paint...he's still hunting a highway friendly rearend and is jonesin for some A/C.
That blue truck might be looking for a new home soon! |
