Re: Slammed GMC Tonka
That looks cool! I always thought that Tonka truck tooling was a Dodge.

Re: Slammed GMC Tonka
Quote:
Tonka never made any GMC,except the first trucks that were cabovers. Buddy L made the 530s back in the '50s. I took a cab and sectioned it to look lore like a pickup and used a later stepside truck to create a GMC pickup. I use it as a cardholder at shows and I could have sold it 100 times. I like playing with my toy trucks

Re: Slammed GMC Tonka
You guys are rockin' real patina and everything. Cool to see you guys into messin' with these cool old trucks. Here's my Buddy-L GMC custom I did. They never did a pickup in these GMCs. They were heavy duty trucks with a different cab, mostly semis. I took this one and sectioned it to look more like a pickup cab, chopped the top a bit,ad put it on a later Buddy-L frame and bed that I shortened. Tonka and Buddy-L only built longbeds. I lowered it a bit,but not a "slam" job:
