Re: Finally got to second base took her top off!

Does this look like a stock height?
I thought it was all original stock other then paint but
found it has a 42 gallon gas tank so maybe it has been lifted too?
The current tires are 31x10.50R15LT's I would love to put 35x12.5x15 BFG MTs
if they even make that size on it without raising it more but I was told in a thread it would rub at a stock height.

Just wondering. How can I confirm?

Thanks PG

Better when the perky like this too......We are going to need more pictures! Great looking truck, looks like stock height to me. Check the springs and shackles for lift, you should be able to tell.

Good looking truck. I like it with the stock wheels and height. Not many original survivors left. I get tons of looks and complements in my truck with the steelies and dog dish hub caps.

Looks great with the top off! Sure looks like stock height to me. Shoot some pics of the springs and we can tell you pretty easily.

Re: Finally got to second base took her top off!

If the front springs have a negative arch (bow upward), then you have stock front springs. All lift springs have a positive (bows downward) arch. In the rear, check to see if there are lift blocks between the springs and perches. If you have blocks, you have a lift. If you have no blocks, you could still have lift springs. Hope this helps.

Re: Finally got to second base took her top off!

Thanks skunk99 I am planing on doing very little to it.
I would like to add a roll bar and have replaced the stock AM
radio with a slide bar from Custom Autosound's the shipment
showed up with one damaged speaker from UPS and the slide bar
feature was not working its getting replaced today. I also have
a set of wheels and 33x12.5x15 BFG MT's going on soon.

Thanks PG

I think it is a great decision to leave the stock lift in it.The top has been off of mine for almost 2 yrs. I keep it under a carport.
