Lesson Learned....don't procrastinate!
So I'm looking for parts that I can use on my project (1970 swb chevy). I need a tailgate, rear bumper brackets, couple of floor patches, and I'd like to put a 3 speed manual in it. About 3 weeks ago I found a donor truck the guy wanted to sell for 500. I put off going by and giving him the money until yesterday...he had already sold it to a scrap yard for $357. Never again lol.

I had a guy that I could get a PERFECT tailgate for $100, plus trading my old, worthless beat up one for. Messed around and he sold the truck

Those were the old days! We've all been there. Nowadays you need to show up with the CASH, no exceptions. Dozens, hundreds, thousands are looking online. Sales are global. Sad but true....
my 2 cents
