wheels for my 6 lug truck?

I would like a nice looking set of 15x10 6 lug wheels and tires for my 69 swb fleetside since it is drivable now. I have drum brakes on all four corners so the backspacing needs to be setup for that. the 15x7 steelies on it now sit too far inwards for my taste and they just don't look right for the truck. I want some wheels/tires that come out far enough to be flush to the fender lips. So, post up what you have or would recommend. BTW, I tried using the search function several times and it keeps saying that I do not have permission to do so. Is the search currently working?

I saw this truck in the post your truck tread, and I really liked it. The description said 15x10 rallyes with a 255/70/15 tire. I didn't know that a 255 tire would stretch over a 10" rim.

Try six spoke torque thrusts or slots. Anything classic will look great.

Re: wheels for my 6 lug truck?

I RUN 255/60R15 ON THE FRONT WITH 8" RALLEYS AND 275/60R15 ON THE REAR WITH 10 " RALLEYS. THEY HAVE 4 1/2" BACKSPACEING, MORE THAT THAT AND THEY WILL RUB. HERE A GOOD PLACE TO BUT NEW ONES.

Re: wheels for my 6 lug truck?

I don't know how many posts are on here about this same topic, but here's my truck with 15x10 Wheel Vintiques, powder-coated red with 275R60-15's. The wheels have a 5 1/2-inch backspace on the back. Front wheels are 15x8's, with 4 1/2-inch backspace and 245R60-15's.

Re: wheels for my 6 lug truck?

My iPhone just sucks at searching for anything. Thats some nice cammo on that stepside, LOL. I haven't found many options for the 6 lug so my huber one priority is 5 lug disks all around.

Re: wheels for my 6 lug truck?

Andy, I don't think you could go wrong with a nice set of rallys; they offer that classic look.
