Re: oil accumulator

I use one its a 1 1/2 qt . Its plumbed in above the oil filter . I just had a line made and used a fitting that I could tap off of for my oil press guage . I would recommend a 3 qt one though . I broke a stock oil pump one time and lost the rod bearings and bent the crank . An extra 1 1/2 qts would have saved it .

They tell you not to but I do . I do have a Titan pump and run synthetic oil though . Just baby it when you start it like you should anyway .

Re: oil accumulator

The accumulator is (extra oil)....You will have to add 2qts to your normal oil capacity .
