Looks good! Makes me want to get a set of those newer-style center caps for my rallys.

Re: finally pics of the 69...maybe

I believe they're like yours; I just have different lug nuts w/ plastic covers on them. They helped hold the caps onto the wheel, since I didn't have all of the screws...

Re: finally pics of the 69...maybe

Now that I look closer, they are the old-style. Those black plastic caps do look good, definitely better than rusty chrome lugnuts. Did you have to go to the dealer to get the caps/nuts?

Re: finally pics of the 69...maybe

You can get them at your local parts store. Find a parts guy that Know how to use the books not the computer cataloging. have him find you aopen ended nut with the same thread as your truck with the external threads for the plastic cap Napa has them for sure I used to work there. I'm not at my shop to look up the #'s. Some one may have the #'s on here ttt

Re: finally pics of the 69...maybe

these covers came off the later model work truck center caps...I need to get a new rear bumper, fender emblems, and an inner grille to get her looking a little better.

Re: finally pics of the 69...maybe

oooh, good call lilpup. Need to get those things off of there, since I can't see out of them anyway. Probably go w/ the round ones.

Also need to get a bowtie on the hood, too. The hood seems to be the right hood, so here's my question: did all 69-70 trucks have an emblem on the hood? It doesn't look like this hood has been changed, but could be wrong.

What else needs to be done? Truck was originally the light olive, so it'll eventually get back that color. Interior upholstery will be black.

Re: finally pics of the 69...maybe

Do you have to drop the fender to add the emblems?

Re: finally pics of the 69...maybe

all 69/70 trucks were supposed to have the hood emblim. You may have a replacement hood, or a 71/72 hood, or welded up holes.

Re: finally pics of the 69...maybe

Is there a template for marking, redrilling emblem holes for the hood? It just seem wrong for her not to have a bowtie.
