Electrical Issues with the '72 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I was wondering if anyone had a Schematic for the headlights from the switch, to the headlights themselves. I finished plugging in the rear tail lights on it today, and then checked it over for inspection.............I had everything but two headlights. Of-course, I thought it might have been something stupid like a ground or poor connection, so I checked everything over, only to find I have no power to the lights even after making sure I had good connections and a good ground. But I have side markers, and rear tail lights? About this time it was getting to dark for my 4 eye's to see much of anything, so I called it a night. I'd like to have an idea of what each pole does on the switch so I can start there and work my out to the front.

Totally, and I mean, totally forgot about that switch..............Growing up I worked for a guy in a heavy truck garage, at that time you couldn't throw a stone in the parking lot and not hit an IH Loadstar that needed work. He always said if you had problems with the headlights look at the switch on the floorboard first. All these years and I haven't learned much from the looks of it

Sure glad there are places like this, I'd have tore everything apart only to accidently hit the switch after everything was in pieces.
