should I buy this?

$300.00
I know where I can get a 1969 longhorn c/20 with a 350 goodwrench engine. The engine was bought new but at least 10 yrs ago. The owner said that it runs great and was rated at 300hp stock.
THe truck has a title,,, the body is pretty much shot. with some welding skills...more than I have..the bed could be saved. cab shot. 350, 400 trans. Ps/pb AC (not working ac) NO tilt, NO tac dash. Money is just a little tight for me right now and I don't know if there's enough parts that I need to be worth it to me. I don't have the money to saveit/ rebuild it. I would like the engine for a spare, and trans. NO I DON"T HAVE PICTURES I JUST FOUND THE TRUCK

Re: should I buy this?

I didn't know if these were in high demand or hard to find. The bed isn't the greatest. IT would need some metal welded in. the rest of the body would need alot of work. new cab, ect. I don't think I would find another bed. I was thinking keep the engine and get rid of the rest.

A longhorn for $300 bucks, go for it. There is always enough parts to recoup you money at $300.

I am building a 350 right now for my '68 short step. It is mostly stock, but i have over $600 in the engine alone............BUY THE TRUCK!! If i could have found a dael like yours i would have parted the thing out and been way ahead of the money game.
