Engine code for 402 BB.
Tuesday I'm going to go buy the 72 GMC with the factory 402 BB in it. Can anyone tell me what engine code I should be looking for on this engine to verify it is the original one? Is part of the VIN # on the pad along with the engine code like it is on many of the car engines? Thanks for any info.
