Hub width
Hey guys, I was interested in these wheels from Summit: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-141-7883gm0 but the hub bore center shows up as 3.429" on their chart. I measured the hub on the axle and the drum and found 3.5", just about. Obviously without a caliper I'm not going to be able to be sure, but will 3.429" fit, and I'm just measuring large? I've been doing a search on the board and the net but no one has the numbers. Any ideas? I'm having a hard time with wheels, just because I'm super picky... All I know is I want 17x8's with 4-4.5 backspacing. Truck's going to be dropped 3/4 and probably 5/6 after a while, so I want them to fit without rubbing. These would work but I want to have them bolt right on, don't want to have to modify the wheels to make them work (opening up the hub bore, spacers, etc).
Anybody know what the exact number is? Thanks in advance. Happy 4th everyone! |

Re: Hub width
3.56" is what I show. You do still have drums, right?
3.06" if you've done a disc conversion with the 1.25" thick rotors.

Re: Hub width
Yea and I'm doing the conversion so the front should be OK, but the rear axle width at the center is 3.5" also, unless the wheel goes around that... maybe it will work then. Thanks!
