Antenna Mount location - Template Lttle Help - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I"m afraid the location of the hole is critical and the template tells me to,
"position the template flush with the cowl line" and "flush with the mirror bracket" The trouble is, I have removed the mirror and filled the holes. If someone could give me a measurement I would appreciate it. Just remember, the only points of reference are the cowl line and the driver's side windshield wiper.

Hi big chevy
I have a 52 gmc and the factory put a template up inside of cowl area so the mechanic had a very easy time drilling and placing the mirror and / or antenna
on the truck if the customer wanted them after delivery
peer up in the cowl area from emergency brake area (bend hunch contort away) hope that helped
