67-72 Chevy trucks still in service

This '69 C/20 utility bed is still being used by the local school district. Plus there's a '68 C/20 fleetside floating around also.

Are there any other local or state governments, or businesses around this great country using our trucks in your area? Post them up.

Its a great testament to the longevity and durability of our trucks.

My 67 is still going strong I shoe horses for a living and it is my mobile shop. My grandpaw's 71 is pushing 500,000 miles and still gets used regular.

This was in service for 30 years or so up in tell a few years ago on my uncle's farm and used for his business. He recently passed and I was given the oppurtunity to own it. He taught me to drive it when I was about 10. I am currently getting it road worthy again and can't wait to drive it. I'm going with the Shop truck / patina look.

Love the old "e" plates! This is the kind of thing our local governments should do more often, keep running the old iron. I wonder how many times the old Chevy has paid for itself?
