67 - 72 frames the same????

I know drums or disks and leafs or coils... but are the bare frames the same for all model years?

67 frame rails are slightly wider up by the engine than the other years. There's less room for headers. I guess some 67 frames don't have a dimple needed for a power steering gearbox, although the 67 frame I had did have the dimple.

The holes for the radiator support mounts are smaller on a 67.

The mounting holes for the fuel and brake lines are different on a 72 because there are three fuel lines instead of one.

The exhaust hangers are different, and mounted at slightly different heights on a 72.

Four of the eight front suspension crossmember mounting holes that go through the sides of the frame rails are in slightly different positions on a 72 (about 1/8" difference).

That's all I can think of. I'm sure there are more differences, but none of them are a really big deal as far as interchangeability goes.
