are these these the right core support mounts?

going on a 68 core support... are these the right bushings? does the flat one go on top of the frame and the cone shape on the bottom?

Re: are these these the right core support mounts?

Brian...those look to big to be 68 core support bushings....see this thread...post #9 shows how to install and post #7....http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=463993

Re: are these these the right core support mounts?

I saw that thread and I am having the exact opposite problem he was having... My fenders are too close to the doors almost like I need another 1/2" lift in the front with these larger mounts.

Re: are these these the right core support mounts?

tell me again...is the frame a 68? or did you swap a 67/68 clip to a 71/2 frame?

Re: are these these the right core support mounts?

Those should work on a 69-72 frame.

Re: are these these the right core support mounts?

You go by the frame for which core support mounts to use.

This is a 68 body on a 71 frame.... Geoff, I'm kinda impressed you brought that up. Glad you were paying attention to my build. Haha

I have to show my wife this....she says I never pay attention (to her) as mentioned above you need to match the core support bushings to the frame

Geoff, you are comparing truck talk to a Honey-Do list. That is not a fair comparison, she will see right through that...
