Converting a 67 small back window to a big back window
Im sure this question has been asked but is there a patch panel to convert your Small Back Window to a Big Back Window? I am getting ready to restore a 67 Long fleet and when I am done with it, it will be a Short Fleet. I am going to use a short frame from my 69 Short Step to build the 67 Short fleet. Then I am going to use the 69 parts and sheet metal to build a 69 long fleet. This is going to be a marathon but luckily all the sheet metal is in great shape which means hardly any body work. I am shooting for spring to be painting these and putting them back together. Thanks for any help you can give me with the Big Back Window question.

In your part of the country, I'd find a big back window cab. You might even be able to trade for the small window cab. My .02

Re: Converting a 67 small back window to a big back window
any big window cab from 67-72 will work. i have never seen a patch, that is something that would require fabrication etc. to get it right. i would consider picking up a big window cab or trading yours for one.
best of luck

mine is not for sale but I am sure if you post a WTB in the classifieds here someone will have a roof from a scrapped cab they would sell you. I cut mine below the body line under the window.

Re: Converting a 67 small back window to a big back window
I`ve only seen people alter the far more abundant big window cabs to the small window.I`d do neither and find another cab or swing a trade. It`s not an east job converting.
