Best source for new bumpers
I am getting to the end of my build and I am looking for the best place to get some new chrome bumpers for my 69 long fleet. Nothing fancy, just stock front and rear bumpers. Who has the best price and who has good quality?
Thanks in advance for the help, you guys are great! |

Re: Best source for new bumpers
Mike's Bump and Grind seemed to have the best prices when I bought my painted bumper.

look for Tri plus or key parts. Top banana is a vendor on here who sells their products and will ship them. The triple nickel plated ones are much nicer than the cheaper ones in quality and seem to be more durable for longer...

Re: Best source for new bumpers
I bought mine from Interstate Auto Body Parts in Salt Lake. The price was good, but I'm not really happy with it. The turn signal/park lights didn't line up right and by the second summer I was already seeing small rust spots. If I can find a good original bumper I think I'll buy it and have it rechromed.

Re: Best source for new bumpers
I contacted Interstate (the Certi Fit warehouse in Salt Lake), and they said that the bumpers are no longer in their inventory. They are listed in their catalog still for $112. Great price and I could save on shipping. Top Banana has a decent price, but the shipping is going to be about $100 for two bumpers. Anyone else that has ideas, I am still looking. Thanks for the input so far.

Re: Best source for new bumpers
Bought mine for my 71 c 10 from Certa fit body parts I paid $65.00 for the front and $71.00 for the rear sport bumper and I have to say the chrome is nicer than the OE gm bumpers on my newer pick up. [bought them 4 years ago]
