What I've been up to....

Hey guys, I haven't been around much these last few months, but here is what has been taking my time:

It is a 1954 Bellwood Aloha, made in Beaverton, OR. I had to completely rebuild the wood frame and replace some sheet metal all new paneling inside and a new axle. These are the pics as of today, I took it on a maiden voyage to work and to DMV. Please forgive my dirty truck, she needs a bath.

Love it!!

We've had several vintage Canned Ham campers. We love them. We are into the campers almost as much as the cars/trucks.

Re: What I've been up to....

Yep, same one. It was quite a mess. Thanks for all the comments guys!

Here is a before pic:

I'll spare everyone the inside before and after pics. But they are just as good.

Oh, and I totally forgot to show you guys my hidden hitch that I installed:

Since nobody makes a hitch for the 60-62's, I ordered an adjustable one for a motorhome. If anyone wants the part number I'll be happy to post it.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Looks like the end pieces can be adjusted for width...the square tube is sticking out of the end. Just guessing.

Period and picture perfect. I hope you have a lot of fun with that combination, I'll bet it starts a lot of conversations. Is this the hitch you used? Same part number on the sticker but looks like it has an extra bracket.

Re: What I've been up to....

Any more photos or interior shots?

For mine, I ordered 200 ss screws today, and a cam latch for the storage door. Trying to get traitor and truck both ready for sept event. By ready I mean 300 mile tip with overnight stay, at car show.
