Got my 37's on!!

Thought I'd share a couple of pics of the SG with 37's. I picked up a set of four tires on eBay for $234 to my door! Makes it look much better than then it did with the 31's!

Paul

BTW the truck has a 6" suspension lift and a 1" body lift. I haven't experienced any tire rub as of yet, but I need to get out and play with it!

I also have that pass side exhaust fixed, too.....

Re: Got my 37's on!!

Looks good How do they ride I thought about getting a set I know were I can get them for 600 for a new set. A buy in FYVL NC sells them used and new. I just cant make my mind up if i want a wider tire. I was going to run himmer wheels and those tires but didnt want to have to change my eaton rear out to a wider 14blt to make it work.

Re: Got my 37's on!!

Thanks for the comments!

To answer some of the questions:
They are 16.5 tires
They were not balanced - the tire shop said they were a huge pain to balance and they sometimes use glass beads on the inside of the tire for dynamic balancing. I opted not to go that route and see where they landed balance-wise. They are actually balanced pretty good. The ride quality actually went up from the 31's (more air between the rim and the road) even tho the sidewall is stiffer.
Earl - I also gout these out of Fayetteville as well - Breg's military tire I think. These were used at $125 a set and about $109 for shipping.
The rims are black to cover up the chipping white paint and rust. Not sure what wheels I will end up with. I have other items to fix before I need to worry about that! I liked the look of the Topkick in the transformers movie, tho.

Re: Got my 37's on!!

Earl -

By the tale of the tape measure, they seem to be in the 36" range for diameter, and in the 11.5-12" range for width.
