distributor wires confused
I tried to unsuccesfully put on a set of chrome headers, but gave up and have painted the original manifolds and put them back on. I had marked the the plug wires because I knew they had to go back on right, but in the month I've been away the tape fell off 2 of them, the 2 front on the passenger side and i have no clue which plug they go to now.
Will it fry anything or screw up the motor if just two are hooked up wrong for a few seconds? the two positions on the distributor are the 4 o clock and 7 o clock, and as far as I know the distributor isn't spun 180. Firing order is 18436572 and it is a 350 CID. I would really love to hear my motor start today. Thanks

Just find plug #1 and go counterclockwise to verify the wiring. You have the firing order ... once you find your #1 plug, the rest is cake.

Thanks guys, I was able to get her running and my engine chromed up real pretty yesterday thanks to the help. I'm having dual exhaust put on today and working on rebuilding brakes on a dana differential 3.54 to put on tomorrow.
