Where are all the 69's
Okay, having surfed most of the 67-72 part of the forum in the last week, I noticed their are alot of 67's,68's,70's,71's and 72's, but there aren't alot of 69's. Their were some but not as common as the others. Is there a reason for this? Also are the grills interchangeable with the 67's, and 68's without modifications, just curious.

Re: Where are all the 69's
I think 2/3rd of the 69's have been in my driveway! I have 2 right now and I gutted 2 this year. Grilles from 69 to 72's will not fit a 67-68. The front sheet metal is different from the 69 to 72's.
There is alot of 69's on here. The guys here favor the 6768's alot. You will find there is alot of guys using front sheet metal from the 67-68's on the 69 to 72's.

Re: Where are all the 69's
Here's a pic of what mine used to look like about 15 yrs ago. Right now, it's on the waiting list to bring him back to life when I get some extra cash (I spent my extra cash on a used fishing boat).

Re: Where are all the 69's
if I'm not mistaken, 69 had more light duty truck sales than any other year in the 67 - 72 sales.

Re: Where are all the 69's
Here's mine...as it was before I gutted it ('08), and as it was when it was my daily driver ('01). The black one is a '69 that started all this madness.
