Re: GMC to Chevy
If you want to change your somewhat unique special hansome GMC into a common everyday run of the mill Chevy we need to know what year Chevy grille you want.
69-72 Chevy fenders are different from GMCs.67/68 are the same. The core supports, center bar, wiring,& hood latches are different. If you are going from`69 GMC to 67/68 Chevy you need a 67/68 hood.67/68s have a gravel shield below the grille. If you are going to 67/68 you can use your core support and modify the headlight buckets.

Re: GMC to Chevy
basicly, the whole front clip, fenders, hood, core support, all as one piece. That's the easy way to do it.
Leaving it a GMC would be real easy, and make the truck cooler. |

Re: GMC to Chevy
I'm assuming its a '69 since you have '69 GMC on your sig line. You can make it look like '68 Chevy without changing your fenders and radiator support, but you have to change the hood, the grill and the bumper. You will have have to drill out the GMC headlight bracket radiator bracket on the radiator support.
If you want it look like a '69 - '72 Chevy, you have to change the whole front clip like Andy said, but you can still use your hood. I feel you on wanting change the grill. I overwhelmingly prefer the Chevy's too. Just tell 'em you're giving your truck LASIK surgery!

Re: GMC to Chevy
the hood will only have to be swapped if you don't want the GMC lettering or holes to remain.
