1/2 ton body parts same as 3/4 ton??
I need a box for my truck and here on the east coast of Canada it is rare. I found one for $1500 about a 2 hour drive from here, thats kinda steep. I also found a 3/4 ton with a good box for $500...I think the body parts will fit?

Re: 1/2 ton body parts same as 3/4 ton??
Thanks for the info, I went to check out the truck and it is a 3/4 ton with half the cab and the front clip of a Burb....thats right, someone welded them both together to make a truck. it had a 3 on the tree automatic that started and sounded good but (V8). I don't know if the burb front end will fit my 70 - 2wd. Oh, and the box needed a little work, but I could make it work for the price.

From the back of the front doors forward to the front bumper, burbs are the same as the trucks with the exception of the window frames on the doors. And I believe you can swap those with a little grinding and welding skill.
