Randy, I would like your nicest Kent Brown, Topeka Ks Trevor

Joe, what was one of the biggest Chevrolet Dealerships in the KC area? My chevelle was sold around the KC area new, and I have no clue, but figured I would put one back on there and decided I would find one from a big GM dealership that was around the same time in 70'. Trevor

Go ahead everybody. I was hoping Randy would have another one of those Kahn, Butler, MO ones, but it doesn't look like it.

Trevor:
Van, Feld and Westfall are the ones that I remember back as far as the mid-70s. Van is now Superior Chevy on Shawnee Mission Pkwy. Westfall is out by Worlds of Fun and is the big dealer for heavy trucks.

Re: Vintage dealer emblems

Van T Chevrolet was out on Topeka Blvd...I know because I grew up in Topeka. My father bought a white '62 Chevy 409 from them. Those were the days!

I'm looking for a "Hoskins Chevrolet" emblem. They were in the southeast corner of Kansas, in a little town called "Oswego." Oswego is close to Parsons. By the way, teeitup, you may know some of my old buddies: Donnie Saylor--he has the used car lot in north Topeka, I believe; the other is Ron Lowry. I don't mean to hijack this thread--just always interested in what's going on in my old home town. (P.S. I believe Donnie Saylor's sister owns a junkyard in Topeka.)

I'm still looking for a '72 Cheyenne right-side door--NO rust!

Not quite sure what you are talking about? If you have a link, I will gladly answer you. I don't have anything on craigslist right now, but if they are from my area, I should be able to tell you who they are. What size of tires are you looking for? Trevor

Re: Vintage dealer emblems

Now those are just plain cool. I never thought of keeping any of the dealer emblems on the trucks I've parted. Phalen motors was in business up until a couple years ago and then they got bought out. Now it's Atchison Auto or something like that-heck I should remember I used to drive by it everyday for work.

Good luck with the sale Randy
