Re: Craigslist Not Mine

Nice truck but with no power steering or power brakes it may be a hard sell.

Re: Craigslist Not Mine

I looked at the truck. Original owner passed away and its his step Grandson that has it listed. His description is pretty much correct. I did find that the passenger side roof had been patched at the rain gutter. Radiator looked to be leaking top drivers side. Charcoal canister still hooked up and tower clamps all there, cardboard gas tank cover still in place, jack and handle under the seat, protecto-plate and owners manual in the glove box, gauges all worked except amp meter, right inner fender well rusted through, drivers door rusted through at the bottom, sway bar still under the front, posi-track tag missing, original spare tire still under the truck, bed looked good just some surface rust. Pretty honest old truck with dents and scratches through the years. I found it interesting that the SPID called it a custom sport truck but it had Cheyenne emblems, definitely a very early 71 model. Engine code is correct for 71-72 350 but his description of it being a 300 HP engine is incorrect. Bare bones Cheyenne pretty much original. I thought about it for a parts truck for the three I already own but I think its worth saving. I'm going to think about it over the weekend and may buy it next week unless someone else wants it more than me. Seems a shame to part it out.
