What exactly is a rubber bumpstop???

Does anybody have a pic of the front and rear bump stops?. I hear when you go low you should trim them down. I don't know what it looks like. Thanks!

It looks like a wedge hanging down from the frame on the rear.I believe the fronts are the same.Sorry I don't have a pic so here's a TTT.
