Took a new pic...
Just wanted to show it off......
You guys think I should do the 2 tone w/ white??? I myself REALLY like the ochre and white color scheme, but that means fuulll on repaint jams etc..etc...etc.. opinions are welcome.

Very nice truck! It'd be hard for me to change from just the way it looks, only because I wouldnt want to screw it up!

Re: Took a new pic...
2 tone with white would look good, but why are you repainting....it looks good just the way it is!?!

Re: Took a new pic...
If you really want ochre and white, then do it that way. It will cost more, but if that color combo is what does it for you, then it isn't a waste of $$.

I think it’s against the law to scuff up a paint job that nice for a different color!

Re: Took a new pic...
Thanks guys for all the replies, The paint don't look nearly as nice close up, the previuos owner painted it w/ a single stage metallic 5 yrs ago and it sat in the barn for 5 yrs. there's chips etc and matching this paint is well a real B***h I don't have any paint codes etc.. I would love to just do some touch up and leav it alone. So there's my dilemma.
Thanks again Brian

Give this one to your wife, then maybe she'll let you get another one and fix it up the way you want to...

Re: Took a new pic...
I think it's real close to a 4/6 P/O dropped the old skool way years ago, heated springs(rear) and I think cut a few coils (front) The rims are 15/10 all the way around (found that out today) until I can get my hands on the factory dimensions I can't really do it the right way, I love the way it sits and I wont mess w/it until I know for sure. Thanks for the comments guys I repainted the wheels today, I'll have pics of that soon. I think I'm gonna wax it again and drive it like I stole it. Brian

Re: Took a new pic...
bcanini I'm not a body man but, I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Now seriously they have ways to match your paint just by analizing yor paint on the truck. I'm not real sure how it's done but, I think they have some sort of gun and it spits out a read out for them of the mixture for the paint you would need. Check into that first if to no avail have at it. If you do end up changeing the color or scheme go with the two tone and ochra if thats what you really like. If you don't you will always wish you had. Hope it helps and maybe one of the real body men on here will chime in with more help on the paint matching subject. RJ22 BTW post more pic's of it the way it is I think it's a HIT with most of us here

Re: Took a new pic...
Its your truck, and you can do what you want, but I think it looks great the way it is! I wouldn't even begin to image how much a New paintjob with two tone would cost verses a touch up.. either way, it would look good.. and of course,, its your truck! and I agree with RJ22,, we all would like to see some more pics!

Re: Took a new pic...
Call around to your body shop supply stores, to see if they have a propit(I think thats what its called) It's like a camera that scans the paint for a match. It will be close to perfect match. I work at a body shop, we use them all the time.
