Re: Truck got hit

Dang, that's a good hit!

Was she driving a jacked up truck? Doesn't even look like it touched the bumper?

Sorry man Some A-hole hit my silverado Thanksgiving morning and didn't bother to leave a note/etc... at least you have someone to blame

Re: Truck got hit

Dang the luck, that's really to bad, shouldn't be to bad to fix though, just a few dollars. Well more like $500 to $750 if done right., Looks like it's time to find a donor parts truck.

Re: Truck got hit

she called me after it happened and sent me a picture of it so i think that made it a little bit better instead of coming home and seeing how much damage there was that would of made me even more mad.

Re: Truck got hit

Geeze dude, sorry to hear that. Luckily it can be fixed. Keep us posted on how that goes.

I know she is your sister and all, but unless she is willing to pay cash for fixing it, don't hesitate filing a claim on her ins. No reason for your truck to not be fixed. I bet if you backed into her new 08, she would make you pay. Just MO.

Well, that's going to be hard to judge because I have no idea what the parts are going to run.

The fender is toast and so is the grille. Looks like you may have some rad support damage, but hard to tell from here.

Based on my experience, I would say in the 800-1200 range. That will include parts, labor and refinish materials.

Might be a little less if you get a smoking deal on the parts... but don't settle for crappy used rusted parts if you can help it!
