bet 300 dollars in auto tech

this morning my autotech teacher said every store has them its called a test light and he went to family dollar at around 5 o' clock and he searched that store high and low and then he seen pictures of the products exactly where they go and of course he started talking smack. He is ASE certified and the funny part is he is short and he has blue and we call him blueberry and papa smurf and also his wife is short. He drives a little ol 92' gmc and if I had penny for everytime he talked smack about my 70 gmc I'd be richer than oprah and bill gates put together. and he has the little ol gmc it sounds good but I call the truck a power wheel the toy that kids ride around and charge it also has stick on hood scoops

I SURE HOPE HE GIVES ME MY 300 DOLLARS

They can be found virtually anywhere that has an automotive section.

Hmmm, you may have gotten 300.00 richer, but I wonder how your grades will reflect. The pen is sometimes mightier than the sword. Spend that 300.00 wisely, maybe don't even accept it at all. Papa Smurf was in charge of the clan for a reason, young luke, wisdom.

Re: bet 300 dollars in auto tech

Well he should have never bet me either way I got 300 dollars. and the reason I bet 300 dollars it would put closer to another GMC like mine. yesterday I went to my lawyer and he won my case and I got $145.00 dollars back and yesterday morning I bet 300 so I could get it.

I got my report card yesterday and I had 97 in auto tech, 92 in drafting, 95 in constrction tech II, and 60 in geometry. those are not bad grades at all and I sleep in geometry.

Imagine what your Geometry grade could be if you didn't sleep in class. I am assuming 60 is passing? When I was in school 70 was passing and if I came home with anything less than a "B (80)" my rear was skinned. Don't blow off geometry. It is very helpful with drafting and construction tech.

Re: bet 300 dollars in auto tech

it sounds like the teacher is in a way pushing you for all the right reasons, if ya know what I mean. listen to him and absorb all he has to offer. old techs have a thing about not wanting to share info, take it while you can. and remember there is a difference between knowledge and wisdom.

BTW, from what I have seen ASE stands for "Ask Someone Else" therefor I dont put a lot of stock in those badges.

Maybe you ought to listen to what others here said and not take the three hundred $$$ for your own sake, young wipper snappers know it all, send em to school, buy em books and what do they want to do?
Just let the smack roll off your back, as far as a test light, you can make one very easily, and yes they are obtainned at almost anyplace that sells auto parts I have even seen em at grocery stores......

Re: bet 300 dollars in auto tech

Well I went to auto tech this morning and I told him where was "my 300 dollars" and then he made up excuses about so Im not 300 dollars richer or poorer. When my autotech teacher went to my job he said wheres your test lights and are you hiding them. I told him we dont carry them and when he walked through the door at the store he thought he was a big shot with his blue tooth in his ear with little light blinking and his blue suit he had on. I thought Family Dollar was having a "BLUE LIGHT" special. When I get caught sleeping in geometry he "what are you doing pingloo; sleeping" then I say no and the he says "zero for you" and show him all my work and I get a 100. The guy is from New Zealand and you can't understand a word he says.

I've read this entire thread and for the life of me can't figure out WTF
70'GMC is trying to say. It has something to do with ASE Certified, Test Lights, 300 bucks, Auto Tech, Family Dollar, Big Shots in Blue suits w/ earbuds, etc....but I can't seem to "connect the dots" and gleen a complete thought / sentence from his posts'.

Re: bet 300 dollars in auto tech

I'm sure you're a lot smarter than your teacher. He is an ASE tech and has a Bachelor's degree from college.

Your posts do tend to obscure your intelligence with the poor grammar and punctuation though.

Remember, there is a reason you have two ears but only one mouth.
