Thanks 67Chevy Redneck for the compliment. I love the GV overdrive. It was expensive but it's fun to drive. I mounted the switch on my floorboard and usually drive the truck in manual mode....in other words, I hit the switch to enagage overdrive when I feel like it. GV does not tell you that if you don't come to a complete stop, which apparently allows the unit to reset, it will shift into overdrive really early....too early for my liking. This only happens when I'm in AUTO mode though. All in all, I'm pleased with it. Now I want to put one on my C20.

Thanks for the compliment. I love the truck. The cover is a Gaylord's fiberglass. Custom made for the 67-72 trucks. It works pretty good but it's heavy. You need at least two strong people to take it off.

Welcome to the board from the Mojave desert in Southern California. I'm relatively new myself. The members are great! Nice truck, too! What size tires and wheels do you have, and is it stock height?
