Went to Sears today....
And........I picked up the new midnight blue 5-drawer roll-away & 8-drawer top box. I walked out minus $300 but, I think it's worth it. Here's the pictures from the craftsman website.

I recently picked up a good deal from Sears here in Victoria, BC. Don't know if the same deal is offered in any US stores but well worth looking into. Got a 14.4 v cordless drill, 2 batteries, charger, dustbuster and maglight and a heavy canvas bag to carry it all. All Craftsman, maglight and dustbuster use the same rechargeable batteries as the drill, all for $99.00 (Cdn funds).
Heh, now I have 3 cordless drills, just couldn't help myself.

I have the red ones......been real good to me for years. Just watch out when you open them all up with tools. Them tool boxes get real touchy on the one who stands in front of it, lol. I dont know about all this tool braking stuff. i use to do heavy suspension work and never had a tool brake on my except for the screw drivers(my fault). I wouldn't use a craftman air tool. it all about IR.

Thanks guys!
stllookin, Yes it has ball bearing drawers with grip latch. I looked at their homeowner series of boxes but, they seem like junk to me. Southpa, I don't think they sell that same kit you mentioned. I bought a 19.2v drill/driver w/ two batteries and 1 hour charger for just under $100 with a 2 year warranty. I build storage sheds and setup hot tubs on site as a job so, I needed the torque and power of the 19.2. I highly recomend it. Sears also has a special edition 19.2 w/flashlight and a circular saw for $159. If any of you go out to pick up the 19.2 like I have you have to hunt for it. They stick them on the bottom shelf where most people don't look. Atleast that's how sears is around here.

i got the same box set up in black a couple months ago for 300...then a week later they went on sale with a 3 dreawer center section all 3 pieces for 315.
Bastards. Ever looked at what a $300 snap on tool box looks like? You can carry it with one hand. |
