Re: Painted my frame yesterday
had help from a friend. neither of us have ever done somthing like this. but we managed to pull both tanks and the axle in about 2 and a half hours, preping took about 2 to 3 hours, and painting took about 2 hours (part was painted in the dark, while the other held a light)

Re: Painted my frame yesterday
looks good, did you use their Metal Prep product on there first before you painted? I ask because sometimes the end result dries blochy, shinny in some parts dull in others, and when you talk to their Tech Support they ask if you used it first?

Re: Painted my frame yesterday
But due to ultra violet rays it'll dull over time. So I'll end up scuffing it and using epoxy spray paint over probably.

Re: Painted my frame yesterday
Probably sometime this week. That shouldn't take long. It's gonna take longer scraping off the grease than to paint it.

Re: Painted my frame yesterday
Looks great! I love POR15. That's what I used on my 64 chassis parts (all sandblasted).

Re: Painted my frame yesterday
Hey, you stole my fuel tank brackets! Mine were sandblasted and then painted with por-15 too. They look great.
