4wd big block motor mounts
Im looking to find a set of 4 wheel drive big block motor mounts for my 68 , I have small block ones now , and have header clearance problems with the transmission crossmember . The collector runs right into it , the exhaust is bent up and over . I have been told factory bb ones set the engine up more . Does anyone know about this , or know how to fix this problem ?

Re: 4wd big block motor mounts
My suggestion would be to ask some of the other guys in the 4x4 section of the forum. For me I ordered a DIY4x4 crossmember and have poly-bushings for my motor mounts. I know that there is a kit that bolts to the original crossmember that allows you to use poly-bushings and may raise the motor up an inch or two. I do some looking around for you.

Re: 4wd big block motor mounts
drivethechevy's got it. Just use the SBC mounts and things will bolt into place.
Might want to peruse this thread as well: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=263273
