Engine Hardware
This sounds almost to lame to ask, but.....
What are you guys using for nuts and bolts? Is everyone getting specific bolts for the application like water pump, exhaust manifold etc.? I need some misc hardware for my new engine and was wondering if Grade 5 or 8 nuts and bolts would do the job since they are easily available, or if I need to order specific ones for the job. Most of the original stuff is gone. Dan. |

For my 468, I just ordered one of those stainless bolt kits you see on eBay everywhere. All the bolts/washers were tagged/bagged according to application, i.e. waterpump, timin cover, etc.
