Time for some longhorn love, show pics
Who needs to lower these beauties, they're long enough to look lowered already. Show us pics of your longhorn. I've included a pic of mine (was dads), a 1972 custom camper.

Re: Time for some longhorn love, show pics
I love those Longhorns. There, you "heard" my love. If I owned one I'd show it. I have pictures of other people's I'll show once owner's have had a chance to show.
Ok,for now, here is one that belongs to a gentleman in Ohio who is not a member. This was at Carlisle Trucks back in '07. I had asked him to bring it by for me to see. It's a nice one,but not as nice as that Dark Olive beauty!

Re: Time for some longhorn love, show pics
Thanks renokeene and Special K. The paint isn't as nice as the photo makes it look. It's in great shape but there are lots of little "use" scratches on it. So only a few longhorn pics posted... Woooo hooo, the selling price on mine just went up, hahaha! Hey Jasonsl1 in Gallup! Yes, I "heard" your love on longhorns... Mooooo Funny
Beautiful trucks posted so far! Last edited by dads longhorn; 05-13-2014 at 06:30 PM. |

Re: Time for some longhorn love, show pics
Special-K, nothing to do with Longhorns, but, waiting in the wings, I've got a pretty nice yellow and white 69 big block half ton lwb, and these yellow trucks you have thrown our there have lit my fire for the yellow trucks. I think you just caused me more work.

Re: Time for some longhorn love, show pics
heres the one I currently have. Have parted out at least three others that come to mind (a 69 396, a 71 gmc 350, and a 72 cheyenne 402). This one is a 72 gmc 402 auto.

Re: Time for some longhorn love, show pics
It's funny how some want short beds over long beds, but EVERY ONE wants a long horn, I love em all!!!!!

Re: Time for some longhorn love, show pics
Did you really think I would get that wrong???? :-)
By definition all factory C30 Fleetside pickups from 68-72 are Longhorns. C30 Stepsides (9' beds) do not have a catchy sales name.

Re: Time for some longhorn love, show pics
Doesn't run under its own power yet so you only get a picture on the lift, but here's mine (Custom Camper, not a Longhorn, but same deal). And yep, I'm very fortunate to have a lift and a nice shop (I earned it - not a trust fund baby)... but if it helps, I turn my own wrenches. Well, everything except paint and automatic transmissions, anyway.

Re: Time for some longhorn love, show pics
Really? So you could NOT get a C30 with a regular wheelbase (127)?
