billet aluminum glove box door trim

custom piece on ebay. it looks really good, something makes me want it, but somethings holding me back. maybe the high price ($45) and the dull finish is holding me back. this would look really good in chrome.

Not a bad price. You could polish it pretty easy if you wanted.

That actually looks pretty good. I'm not a fan of the ones that cover the whole door.

I like it. Looks like a way to use a lid that use to have a trim plate with out having to fill the holes.

Then you put the piece on the glove box straight......

Re: billet aluminum glove box door trim

I bought that piece from them and think I was like the first or second buyer they had. I also got the trim pieces that match the glove box but they go on the bottom of the doors. I paid $25 for all 3 pieces! The price has really gone up!

Re: billet aluminum glove box door trim

One thing about billet aluminum anything.... if its not clear, color or hard coat anodized its going to oxidize and show finger prints and smudges like a big dog over time.....

Re: billet aluminum glove box door trim

I like it, but I feel hard pressed to pay his current asking price, knowing what you guys paid for yours. So I emailed him asking if we could drop the price and told him we were discussing these, here.

Any ideas on keeping it in that condition? Like Mocwon said, the aluminum will dull over time if it's not cleared in some manner.
