HUCK's Garage/Barn sale 6-13-09---KY

Ref my announcement in the message board, I am selling off my truck and Blazer parts inventory and backing off restorations. This selloff will be offered via a GARAGE/BARN sale to be held Saturday June 13 in Bagdad, KY which is about 35 miles east of Louisville. If you are interested in coming to the sale, just let me know via PM so I can have an idea of who is coming. This collection is also available for a "BUY IT ALL" if someone is inclined. Everything offered is driver quality or better with many new and some NOS items.
THIS INVENTORY AND PRICING IS STRICTLY OFFERED FOR THE GARAGE/BARN SALE AND NOT FOR INTERNET SALE WITH SHIPPING AT THIS TIME!
Some items may be available after the sale and I will update accordingly. I will include some pictures but don't want to waste too much of the boards mips with 130 pics. If you plan on coming and want a pic of a specific item where pictures will actually make a difference, I will respond. (you don't need a picture of a panhard bar!)---hehehehe
This sale is for BOARD MEMBERS ONLY. If cousin Earl wants to come along and bring his 4 kids, their 2 dogs and their goat----my dogs aren't very friendly but they are hungry! You are responsible for anyone you bring. So Mike, keep a short leash on "you know who!" hehehehee

Re: HUCK's Garage/Barn sale 6-13-09---KY

A couple of questions, do you know the condition of the 700r4's? Also, do you know what year they were removed from?

Is that light blue center console a cup holder or belt holder console?

... and I really liked ... the this ain't playboy comment ...

Thanks

Re: HUCK's Garage/Barn sale 6-13-09---KY

Huck, since you asked the question (and I think you really are interested in a response) I'll tell you where I'm at. I'm almost 6 hrs away, gonna take almost 3 gas tanks full (40 gals each) to get there and back.

There are 6 or 7 things I'd love to have, and your pricing is such that I would save a quite a bit of money. However, it's not enough to overcome the gas costs ... but when you throw in the entertainment value and fun factor plus the impending endorphine release from being in the presence of all those parts I am on the fence about going. I really want to! Not willing to committ just yet, but I really want to go! (There is also the wife factor and money factors to consider!)

Other thoughts:

1. Car pools there ... I know ... tough to do?
2. Delay the date so that people are headed out anyway, possibly on the way to a big show or swap meet or regional board meet? They can just swing by on their way, make it a two day event. Or have an event there (can you do that?)
3. Offer more incentives, $10 bucks off for ever $100 spent. Or spend $500 and more and receive a free blazer axle or ...?

Regardless ... it's an awesome thing ... good luck and I hope to see you.

Thanks

Badsam--one 700R4 is out of an 88 1/2 ton truck and the other is later. The light blue console is a cup holder type--has you name on the bottom.

I might be interested in one of the AM/FM's if they all don't sell at the garage sale. I won't be able to make the trip.

Re: HUCK's Garage/Barn sale 6-13-09---KY

Here are some additional pictures---so far my sign up sheet is a little weak. Is the inventory to difficult to download---prices too low, too far away, to many have to work, to much of the wrong stuff, to much trouble to go get --would rather have it all shipped?????
Beautiful new 1971-1972 style blue bucket seat covers----Super new Black heavy duty embossed black seat cover----Two, yes, 2 sets of Blazer 4x4 axles----will sell them cheaper then you can pull them out of pull-a-part and I will even load them in your trunk for no additional charge---TAX Free!!
