I see lots of threads on wheels and tires, but most are talking about dropped models.

I have a 72 LWB Fleet truck at stock height and stock box. Currently i have 15X8 Ralley's off the 1973-1987 style trucks I think, with 235/75/15. Anyway I need new rings and centercaps, which i haven't priced yet. I am also considering American Racing Rally 773 or 775 or something similar depending on price. I was going to go with 275/60/15 all the way around but want to know how big I can go with out rubbing. I want to stick with a 15 inch rim. Different sized tires on front and back don't bother me, nor do different sized rims. Thanks Jamie

I am running 275/60x15 on all four corners of mine. I like the look and I have never had a problem with rubbing.

I have 295/50/15 on the rear and 235/60/15 on the front. Everything seems fine, no rubbing or anything. If you mean BIG, as in TALL I have no idea what you could run, but I have mine lowered 3" in the rear and 4" in the front, and I still have a couple of inches to run a taller tire.

It depends on how low you are. There are some guys running a 325/50/15 on a 10"rim.
You wuld be safe with a 275 60 15 from what I have read. Even on a 6' drop. The are a 28" tall tire so the have a god side wall hight.

I'm pretty sure you could safely get away with a 295 if you don't have a narrow rear end. I have 275s and have a inch and a half clearence from the bed to sidewall. 295s would only be half a inch close to the bed.

Be prepared to grab your chest in pain when you go to the local GM dealer for prices on new caps and rings. Each unit over 100 bucks each plus lovely taxes. I like ralleys alot but just can't justify shelling out 800+ bucks. Hopefully exact repos of these parts will appear in the near future.
