took it in the shorts
Got a repop tank from LMC and bolt holes were way off. I decided to send it back. I took it to ups today and was $38 to ship back add that to the $26 they charged to ship and I lost $65 due to their crappy product. Thats the last thing I get from LMC.

Re: took it in the shorts
That sucks. Any reason you didn't get a used one?

Re: took it in the shorts
You have to go into buying re-pop stuff with knowing that you are almost always going to have to do some modifying to make it fit right. Bought a new gauge bezel and dash pad. Really had to finess to make then both fit. Lucky I'm a master fabricator and have been known to get 10lbs of crap in a 5lbs sack. LMAO

Re: took it in the shorts
I'd say that they should refund the shipping, since this is a quality issue. I'd raise six kinds of h3ll with them untill they refunded the shipping both ways. Oh and never buy from them again, unless they are the ONLY one with the part you need.

I'll never buy from them again. I have bough a lot of stuff from year one and been very satisfied. This time I bought based on price and "took it in the shorts."

Re: took it in the shorts
I know I'm not real close but I have a couple if you end up needing a used one.

Re: took it in the shorts
Thanks a lot. I took mine to the shop today to have it restored. The are going to clean and reseal and it is about $150.00 and that way I will have a perfect fit.

Re: took it in the shorts
Cool. Are they coating the inside? I'm guessing that's what restoring is.
