New here... Got a little project to share.
I recently acquired a new project. This has been sitting in my uncles garage for 12 years untouched. He bought it 12 yrs ago, drove it home, parked it, and that was it. Well after many years of working on many projects in the same garage next to it, I decided I had to have it. So now I unveil to you......
. . . . . . My 63 Chevy! Ive replaced the plugs, wires, and coil. Next is making the brakes road worthy. I do have to have the carb rebuilt. As far as parts I need for it. I need a pass wiper arm, driver fender(it has a fiberglass one on it.), and tail light lenses.I also have the original wheels w/tires and original centers. Tires are being dismounted so I can blast and powder coat the wheels black. I want to keep this as a reliable driver as possible. However I am sure it will end up like every other project and go overboard. |

I wish the cab was like the bed. The previous owner before my uncle primed the cab and dog house. I just want to get it road worthy and drive it the rest of the year, then this winter 5 lug swap it and hammer it to the ground and upgrade to a small block.

Good to know. Thats why I posted it, just forgot to ask. I like it over the grill that is on the truck, plus its in better shape. I have the headlight trim for it also.

It's like a blank canvas. You can make it into anything! Plus, the windshield is already flamed.
