Looking for Patina

A while back I saw pics of a truck on here, I think it was the beginning of a project. It looked like an original green color and it was showing rust in all the right places! I am looking for more pics of C-10's with just the perfect patina!

thanks
Brad

Here is my burb that I hope when I get through compounding and waxing it that it will show just enough primer to look cool.

Re: Looking for Patina

Here's my truck. I bought it of of the dealer with 39,000 miles on it. It was never registered so i am technically the first owner. Everything on it is original except the intake, carb, plugs, and wires. It even has the stock clutch in it. The 307 in it runs great and doesn't smoke or use oil. My dad keeps telling me to to do some body work on it and make it look good, but I like it just the way it is. I want to make it the ultimate sleeper. P.S. I'm 17 and this is my daily driver for now.

If you like pontiacs you should see the lemans sport convertible that he has on the showroom. He closed 10 years ago and he still has it there. All that it needs is a top and paint on the rubber parts. But he won't sell it. It took forever to convince him to sell me the truck, i think that car will never get sold.

how awesome is it to have an original of what so many are trying to copy!!!!!

In all honesty I would pay more for your truck the way it is rather than your truck with a new paint job. LEAVE IT JUST LIKE IT IS.

I'm not real sure about the "patina" look or who decided it's cool but I do have the look on my truck. How about them rusty wheels?
