1 piece driveline shortbed

Im looking for a 1 piece driveline for my 67 c10. my truck is a long bed with a two piece driveline. but I bought a short bed frame im switching everything over to. I haven't been able to find any locally on craigslist. what other year trucks drivelines will work?
mine measure approx. 59" from back of tranny shaft to the rear end.

don't really want to pay $300 bucks to have a new one made.

thanks

Re: 1 piece driveline shortbed

This may sound too simple but get one too long and have it cut down. the welding shops around here did a steel one for me for like $25 bucks and a alum. for $45. If your a little brave you can do it yourself depending upon your toolbox and comfort level and your welder. While I'm typing this the 59 inch sounds really close to something I'm real familiar with that is a S-10 drive shaft. I think it is really close to that measurement. I threw away a couple hundred of them a year or two ago[I had two women trying to raise money to make it to the city for chemo by hauling scrap iron]I probably have a hundred or so left I will put a tape to one in the morning. Now where is this measurement from? Is it the center of cap to center of cap? Or are you measuring the center of the slip yoke and the center of the rear joint? Let me know and I'll measure one tomorrow and see what I have to see if that will solve a problem for many. Jim
