New member with barn find
Just wanted to introduce myself and my new toy, fellow member (2003 silverado) and I found this 72 Cheyenne in a barn. It come with an old plow with push/pull controls and also spare parts like grill, chrome surround and a spare hood. We're going to pick it up next weekend so I'll post up some pics when we pull it out and get it home. I think the pigeons will be sad to see it go. John

Re: New member with barn find
Welcome, did you guys buy everything? I see another Blazer and what appears to be an el camino and a bunch of parts. If not was anything else for sale? What are your plans for the blazer? I have two myself and always like to see some of the local trucks.

Re: New member with barn find
Thanks guys,
72gmguy, He would only sell the white blazer, He has other blazers and pickups that he is working on. My plans are to restore it and use it as a driver/tow vehicle for my 70 SSchevelle and my popup. |

Re: New member with barn find
Well, tomorrow is the big day, I hope the rain isn't to bad. I'll get some pics of us dragging it out of the barn, the owner said it runs and I could drive it home but I think I'll take it home on a trailer just in case. Here's some pics of some parts I scored this week.

Re: New member with barn find
Good luck, what are the white pieces? The roll bar is from a 73 and later blazer but ive seen them in 69-72 models before. My corvette club hosts an all GM show in south Jersey if any of you guys want to meet up on June 11. Its posted in the calendar section.

Re: New member with barn find
It's a roof rack. Vintage aftermarket piece for our body style blazers.

Re: New member with barn find
I think the white pieces are a roof rack and the three bars fit into the white pieces.
Edit: looks like a type too slow...

Re: New member with barn find
It's home, we were able to start it up and drive it out and on to the trailer. It looks a lot better now that its cleaned up but it's got the usual rust, bondo and patch work. I promised my wife I wouldn't tear into it until my 67 mustang conv roller is gone, anyone looking for a mustang project?
