WTB: 67-72 SWB 4x4 Rolling Chassis
I picked up a rust free 67 cab and 68 front clip to go with my 68-72 shortbed so I decided I want to put together a SWB 4x4. Anybody have a SWB 4x4 Rolling chassis they are looking to get rid of?

Re: WTB: 67-72 SWB 4x4 Rolling Chassis
I have had this 71 for years. This year I offered it for sale with a good used engine & trans, side fill bed & all the little stuff to make it run.
It is number matching, never lifted or off roaded, perfect frame & suspension. The transfer case is still installed and the driveshafts are here too. The frame has been cleaned & POR painted. The rearend has been upgraded with posi & new late model wide brakes. I might separate the running gear & keep the bed, clip, engine, etc. Let me know if this is close enough for you to consider...Olympia, WA. |

Re: WTB: 67-72 SWB 4x4 Rolling Chassis
jamie72: I'm pretty open. I may even consider one with a drivetrain if everything is in good working order. It may be cheaper to buy a complete truck, but I figured it was worth seeing what was out there.
buffle: what do you have? PICKMUP: Seems like a shame to tear such a nice looking truck apart, but sounds like a good candidate. I've never shipped a rolling chassis before, I should probably get a ballpark figure for shipping before I get too interested

Randy;
Thats a nice truck, what are you asking for it as it sits? I really wouldn't need a motor and trans as I have 3 72 Blazers with good motors in them. Not really sure I can swing anything right now but figured I would ask anyway. thanks Dave |
