Whats a fair price to pay? '73 C30

Okay guys, so tomorrow I'm supposed to go look at a 1973 c30 camper special. Its got a 350 in it with about 100,000 miles and has rust in the cab corners, rockers, and fenders but frame is supposed to be solid. Guys asking 1,600 for it. These are the pictures I've seen of it and I'm curious what y'all think a good price would be for it. Thanks in advance

If your goal is a work truck where appearance isn't a prime concern, probably a good deal if the drive train is in decent shape. $1600 for a truck that moves under its own power without leaving a smoke screen or oil slick is usually a good deal. Bonus points if the tires are in good shape.

If you want a show truck, usually cheaper to find one close to what you want, then add your personal touches to it.

Might ask if the tailgate is laying around somewhere if your negotiations get that far.

So I went and looked it over, not too bad overall and it drove really well. Its very original which is nice, its not had a bunch of people trying to "fix" things over the years and it shows. Its even got the owners manual still in the glovebox. I talked to guy down to $900 so I just had to bring it home. It was about a 30 minute drive and the truck did great and everything appears to work well. I'm honestly not sure what I'll do with it but for the money there was no way I was going to leave it behind. Thanks again for all of your thoughts guys.
