Fresh paint smell in the morning
Got to love the smell of fresh paint in the morning, spit some on this 67 and cannot hardly wait to get started putting it together. 327 with manual 4 speed and a 4 inch lift, not too fond of the lift but will decide later if I want to drop it to two. Has a after market tail gate and it does not fit the best (may have to decrease the box side)and I may end Up painting the grill black along with some black bumpers and rally wheels.we filled the gas fill In the cab and plan to move it to the box with a stake pocket area fill spot and maybe a slider for the rear window., One thing I noticed is the body bushings are shot and we really should have changed them prior to painting, not looking forward to that and the trouble it will cause with panel alignment as I was close enough to finished except the hood.

Re: Fresh paint smell in the morning
I like the lift, I'm also a fan of white on that front grill and think white bumpers would look good with that red, especially if you go with steel wheels which could also be painted white. Nice looking GMC!
