Re: Has enyone ever.......
why do you want to put one of those colums in? for tilt? if so you can get a colum out of a van and it bolts right in i believe

When I see a newer column in one of our trucks I kinda throw up in my mouth a little.

Re: Has enyone ever.......
Now that is very nice because the whole dash (well half anyway) has been grafted in. I like that.

Re: Has enyone ever.......
That's a lot of work. I'm not really sure if I like it or not. I'm leaning towards not liking it though. I'm a stickler for stock.

It's in the 1972 section. I think those are all thats there though. Edit: Hmmm, not sure why all the ******* are showing up. Replace the ***** with ricks pickup parts, but with all three words ran together. Is that url banned from this site or something? Even when I type those three words together, it still shows up ******??

Re: Has enyone ever.......
that 4X4 has been on e-bay a few times if I recall.
I have to ask also, why do you want to install the 73 - 87 dash? I'm not bashing here... Just curiouse... the dash on the 67 - 72 is simplistic and clean, just like the rest of the truck. Not over cluttered, easy to figure out, everything is in easyreach, nothing to bash your knees on... etc. |

Longhorn Man:
its just a thought, plus I have the whole truck. and I dont want my ride to be like everyone elses. that and it will be easier to hide a/c behind and it has a tilt column out of a 91' suburban and a custom dashface and newer dash pad. I also like the newer dashboard, but dont get me wrong the original dases are nice to. |

Re: Has enyone ever.......
Ok, I put the tilt column out of a 70 somethin chevy in my truck (well my dad did the mods)
I don't know what it takes to put a van column in, but this took A LOT of modification to make it work But if you're like me & don't have any money, but want tilt then yes you can mod one to fit Sorry no pics of the mods |

Re: Has enyone ever.......
