help identify carb

Looking for some information on this carb. It's on my 69 burban trucks not running on this carb. Look to see if it's worth sending out to have rebuilt or if maybe someone here has one lying around they wouldn't mind selling

Re: help identify carb

Looks like a Rochester 2JC or possibly 2GC.

Great little carbs. I plan on putting 2 or 3 on my 6 cylinder.

Re: help identify carb

Those are reasonably simple inside. Why not rebuild it yourself?

Re: help identify carb

Switch it out for a quadra jet small primary 4 barrel and intake you'll get extra hp and better fuel mileage if you can keep your foot off the gas pedal , Nothing sounds better on these old trucks than stomping down and hearing that quadra jet big secondaries open up .
