Re: need help with rim choice

It doesn't give any info about backspacing. I know those wheels are designed for the 99-up Chevy/GMC trucks, so the offset may look kinda goofy on the 67-72 trucks.

Agreed. You would need to use a fairly thick wheel spacer. Just something about 6 spokes and very little dish on those Cragars looks wierd... maybe its just me.

How about a set of vintage slots?

Re: need help with rim choice

I hung a set of stock wheels off of a 07 Duramax (probably same backspacing as you are looking at) on mine. They sat way inside the fenders - like at least 2". Looked really odd to me.

Re: need help with rim choice

They do show a +20mm offset, which works out on a 9" rim to be roughly 5.25" backspace.

Re: need help with rim choice

If they are true to Cragar form, the chrome will start pitting and flaking after a year, and they weigh a ton. But they do look nice while they last.

Re: need help with rim choice

They will work, but if you look closely, there's no dish in the front of the wheel. It basically still looks like a late model wheel on a classic.
