Anyone running this shutoff valve?
I don't know what it is called, but is there some type of shutoff valve that goes in line between the water pump and the heater core for non AC trucks? I am looking to be able to shut off the hot water that would normally circulate through the heater core in the summer. I don't need any additional radiant heat in the cab when it's 100 degrees outside.

I've always referred to that as a heater core bypass valve. Old Air offers several.

U can buy them at local auto stores. Manual shut off's. Just close it off during the summer. This is mine.

Only one per vehicle and it will stop circulation to the heater core. Most are 3/4" nipples so it's the 3/4" line but either or will do if it fits the hose.
